Consultation on reporting requirements for Research Block Grants for universities

On 30 September 2016 the Australian Government implemented new funding arrangements for research block grants for universities. As part of this the department committed to further consultation with the sector on definitions and detailed implementation arrangements.

The department has released a paper which forms the basis of this consultation. It sets out options for implementing the new reporting requirements research block grant funding arrangements.

Submissions on the consultation paper will inform development of the final reporting requirements for RBGs. Submissions are required to be made through the smart form. The smart form is available here.

Submissions in response to the consultation paper have now closed. The department will not accept late submissions without prior written approval.
